Bajaj Auto has launched a new ABS variant of the Pulsar NS125, priced at Rs 1,06,739 ex-showroom. As the name implies, Bajaj has updated the motorcycle with single-channel ABS. We look at the Pulsar NS125’s essential characteristics and the motorcycles it competes against.

The Pulsar NS125 is powered by a 124.45 cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that delivers 11.8 horsepower at 8500 rpm and 11 Nm at 7500 rpm. It is paired to a 5-speed transmission. According to Bajaj, the NS125 is the most powerful motorcycle in its class. The motorcycle has a 12-litre gasoline tank and 17-inch front and rear tyres. The braking system comprises of a 240 mm front disc and a 130 mm drum.

The Pulsar NS125’s sharp appearance lends it a powerful road presence. It features an LED headlamp and trademark Pulsar twin-strip LED taillights. The Pulsar NS125 features a digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, gear position indicator, distance-to-empty readout, real-time fuel economy, and average fuel economy. It also includes a USB connector for charging devices.

The Pulsar NS125 competes against the Hero Xtreme 125R and TVS Raider. The Xtreme 125R ABS trim costs Rs 1,01,100, ex-showroom Delhi and the Raider SX is for Rs 1,04,471, ex-showroom Delhi.
