Bharat Bandh: Schools And Colleges To Remain Closed On Friday

Bhubaneswar: The educational institutes, including schools and colleges, in Odisha will remain closed on March 26, in view of the Bharat Bandh, the State government announced. The Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM), an umbrella body of farmer unions, will on Friday observe ‘Bharat Bandh’.

In a letter to the District Education Officers (DEOs), School and Mass Education Department Secretary Satyabrata Sahu informed that all schools will be closed on March 26 in view of ‘Bharat Bandh’. Similarly, the Higher Education Department declared colleges and universities functioning under the department will remain closed in view of the bandh.
