The ruling BJD said that it would contest in all 147 Assembly seats and all 21 Lok Sabha seats, just hours after the BJP confirmed that it will contest alone in Odisha.
“BJD will contest in all 147 assembly constituencies and all 21 Lok Sabha constituencies with the support of people of Odisha and win more than three fourth seats under the leadership of Shri Naveen Patnaik,” asserted BJD General Secretary (Organisation) Pranab Prakash Das in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
“New Odisha and Empowered Odisha will be our goal and we are on track to achieve this under the leadership of our leader Shri Naveen Patnaik,” Das added.
With the help of Lord Jagannatha and the faith of the people of Odisha, BJD has been serving the state and changing it in every way, he said, like never before.
According to the BJD General Secretary (Organisation), the party would persist in making decisions that prioritize the welfare of the people of Odisha, in line with the principles of cooperative federalism and statesmanship that are essential for the development of a nation.
