On February 1, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is scheduled to present her seventh consecutive budget during Parliament’s Budget Session, which runs from January 31 to April 4.
According to tradition, the session will begin on January 31 with President Droupadi Murmu’s speech to a joint session of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. The economic survey will then be tabulated.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will answer to the Motion of Thanks on the President’s address at the first nine sittings of the Budget Session, which will take place from January 31 to February 13. Sitharaman will respond to the budget discussion.
After reviewing the budget plans over its hiatus, Parliament will reconvene on March 10 to consider the demands for grants from various ministries and conclude the budgeting process.
The last day of the session is April 4. There will be 27 sittings throughout the whole budget session.
