CAT 2025: The deadline to register online for the Common Admission Test (CAT) is September 20 (5 p.m.). Candidates can register for the CAT 2025 application at the official website, iimcat.ac.in.
CAT 2025 is administered by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode. Professor P N Ram Kumar of IIM Kozhikode is the Convener of CAT 2025. The CAT 2025 registration period began on August 1 and was supposed to end on September 13, but candidates were given an additional week to register for the IIM MBA entrance exam.
The convenor of CAT 2025 has urged the MBA aspirants willing to take CAT 2025 to use only the official website — iimcat.ac.in — for all application-related activities. In case of any fraudulent websites or suspicious activity, candidates are encouraged to report the matter immediately to the CAT help desk at cat2025_helpdesk@iimk.ac.in.
The CAT 2025 will take place in three sessions on November 30. The test will last 120 minutes.
CAT 2025 is expected to be held in roughly 170 cities. Candidates must select any five exam cities from a drop-down option when submitting their CAT 2025 application. Candidates will be assigned one of the five chosen cities based on availability. If an applicant is not selected for one of the preferred cities, he or she will be assigned to a nearby city.
This year’s CAT registration fee is Rs 1,300 for candidates from the SC, ST, and PwD categories, and Rs 2,600 for all other applicants.
It is administered annually and assesses candidates in three areas: verbal ability and reading comprehension (VARC), quantitative ability (QA), and data interpretation and logical reasoning (DILR).
A high percentile score, often between 90 and 99 depending on the IIM, is required to advance to the next step of the admission procedure.
The CAT 2025 admit cards will be available for download starting November 5.
Each IIM has its own criterion for shortlisting individuals for the next phases, which take into account CAT scores, academic records, work experience, and diverse issues. Although CAT scores are important, their significance varies. Older IIMs, such as IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, and IIM Calcutta, frequently prioritize CAT scores, although newer IIMs may balance them with other variables like as work experience, marks earned in Class 10, 12, and graduation, among others.
