The University Grants Commission (UGC) has issued an important notice requesting that all universities in the country finalize dates for undergraduate admissions only after the CBSE XII Results are declared by the board. The UGC directive on finalizing UG Admission Dates 2022 follows reports that some universities had already begun basic formalities to streamline Undergraduate Admissions 2022.
What Is the UGC’s Notice About?
The UGC notice to universities highlights the fact that some universities have begun the process of streamlining undergraduate admissions for the Academic Session 2022-23. According to the notice, some institutes have already begun accepting registrations for UG Admissions, and because CBSE 12th Results 2022 are still pending, students from the Central Board will be at a disadvantage. According to the notice, CBSE Board Class 12 Results will be released soon after the ongoing evaluation process is completed. As a result, it has asked universities to set the deadline only after the CBSE class 12th results are released.
UGC Chairman M. Jagadesh Kumar has also tweeted the commission’s official circular, requesting that universities complete the UG Admission Application Process only after the CBSE Class 12 Results are announced. Mr Kumar stated in a tweet from his official account, “UGC requests all the higher educational institutions to fix the last date of their undergraduate admission process after the declaration of the result of class Xll by CBSE so that such students have sufficient time for admission in UG courses.”

CBSE Class 12 Results 2022 are expected to be released by the end of July 2022 for the 2022 session. So far, CBSE officials have remained completely silent on the subject of CBSE 12th Class Result 2022 Date and Time, and have not shared any specific details about it. The CBSE XII Board Exam was held in two terms, Term 1 and Term 2, and the final results will be released soon. According to the UGC notice, CBSE results will be declared after combining the weightage of both Term 1 and Term 2 results. This is another point on which the CBSE Board must provide clarification before releasing the CBSE Class 12 Result 2022.
