The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is gearing up to organize the CBSE Board Exams 2024 for both Class X and Class XII students. Prior to these board exams, the board reminded students of the attendance obligation, which requires a minimum of 75% attendance. The board has established rules that must be observed by all pupils taking the examination, and it has also been outlined what would happen if someone fails to meet the attendance obligation. CBSE Board Exams 2024: Attendance Mandate
According to the Central Board of Secondary Education’s (CBSE) Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), it is mandatory for all students who are going to sit for the upcoming board exams to fulfill the 75% attendance mandate; this means that 75% attendance is required for the students to appear for the board exams.
‘Accordingly, the CBSE has issued circulars and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and has prescribed mandatory 75% attendance for appearing in the Board examination,’ according to a notification. According to regulations 13 and 14 of the Examination Bye-Laws, a 25% attendance relaxation is granted in consideration of exigencies and emergencies encountered by students and their families.’
CBSE Boards 2024: In Case Your Attendance Is Short..
If a student’s attendance falls short of what the Board requires, it is the obligation of the student’s school to obtain the necessary evidence that clearly states and justifies the student’s absence. The materials are expected to be forwarded to the board’s relevant Regional Office by January 7, 2023. If the data is not sent on time, the license to take the tests will not be denied.
CBSE Board Exams 2024 Dates
The exam sheet or timetable has yet to be announced by the Board, but as is customary each year, CBSE is likely to hold the board exams for Class X and Class XII in the month of February and March in 2024.
