CBSE Board Exams 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the deadline for submitting registration data for Class 9 and Class 11 students taking the board exams in 2023-24. The deadline for submitting registration data for Class 9 and Class 11 pupils without incurring a late fee has been extended until October 25.
Between October 26 and 29, the board will also allow schools to submit registration data with the payment of a late fee.
While announcing the date extension, CBSE in an official statement said, “Considering various representations received from schools, the schedule for submission of registration data of Class 9, 11, 2023-24 has been extended.”
In a separate notification, the board also urged administrators and schools to correctly fill in the names of the candidate, mother and father or guardian, names of subjects, and all other information.
“CBSE has issued 4 reminders dated August 17, September 6, September 20, and September 26 wherein schools were reminded to complete their data and correctly fill the details of the students and subjects in the LOC. Thereafter, it was also mentioned that the subject correction after submission of LOC will not be entertained in any manner, it added.
The board further stated that it will not consider a change in subject in the submitted List of Candidates (LOC) in order to ensure timely preparation for CBSE 2024 exams.
