CBSE Board Exams 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the admit cards for Class 10 and Class 12 private applicants for the CBSE Board Exams 2026. Registered candidates can now download their hall tickets from the board’s official website, cbse.gov.in.
The CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exams are planned to take place from February 17 to April 9, 2026. Candidates must bring a printed copy of their admit card to the examination centre, since access is not permitted without it.
How to download CBSE Admit Card 2026 for private candidates
Step 1: Visit the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the link related to Class 10 or Class 12 private candidate admit cards.
Step 3: Enter the required login credentials as prompted on the screen.
Step 4: Submit the details to view the admit card.
Step 5: Download the admit card and take a clear printout for use on the examination days.
Previously, CBSE asked students to properly examine all details on their admit card and report problems to the relevant regional office as soon as possible.
The hall ticket includes the candidate’s name, board roll number, subject-specific examination dates, details of theory and practical components, total marks, passing criteria, and the allotted examination center address, center code, and other information.
Earlier this week, the CBSE published an advise urging students and parents not to enroll in fraudulent or unrecognised universities during the upcoming 2026-27 academic year. The CBSE issued a notification instructing schools to counsel senior students and encourage them to check their institution’s status on the UGC website.
