UG Admission 2022: According to recent updates, the Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) issued a notification urging universities to accept students’ class 12th marksheets, passing certificates, and migration certificates from Digilocker. CBSE stated that all higher educational institutions should accept Digilocker digital documents because they are legally valid and digitally signed by the controller of examinations.
CBSE class 12th results 2022 were released on July 22nd, 2022. The board is expected to issue a printed copy of the CBSE 12th mark sheet and migration certificate shortly. Students taking admission to UG courses can use their Digilocker digital documents for the admission process until then.
CBSE Official Notice Regarding Class 12th Certificates on DigiLocker
According to the official notice, some universities required students to submit their Migration certificates in printed form, while the board urged HEIs to accept digital documents. CBSE has informed that digital marksheets are now available. The passing certificate and migration certificate issued to students digitally are duly signed and valid by the Controller of Examinations.
“However, it is informed that documents i.e. Marksheet cum Passing certificate and Migration Certificate available in Digilocker with digital signature are also legally valid and should be accepted by all higher educational institutions,” CBSE said in an official statement.
Statistics for CBSE Class 12th Result 2022
There were 1444341 students who had registered for the CBSE Class 12 board examination. 14335366 of these candidates took the exam, and 1330662 passed. This year’s pass rate has been recorded at 92.71%. Trivandrum had the best results, while Prayagraj had the worst. Exams were also given in offline mode for Term 2 from April 26th to June 15th, 2022.
Registrations for CBSE 10th and 12th Grade Students
CBSE recently issued an important notice regarding the upcoming CBSE 10th and 12th Board exams 2023, which will be held in February 2023. The Board has established a deadline for students to complete their registration for the CBSE Board Exam 2022. The notice states, “the last date for completing Class 10, 12 board exam registration is August 30 and the deadline for submitting list of candidates is August 31.”
