The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) extended the deadline for applying for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) in January 2024 on Wednesday. Applicants can submit their forms on ctet.nic.in until November 27.
The CBSE initially declared a November 23 application deadline. The exam will be held on January 21st. The exam will be given in 20 different languages.
Candidates from the general or OBC NCL categories who appear in only one paper must pay a fee of $1,000. The price is $1,200 if they accept both papers.
For SC, ST candidates and differently abled persons, the fee is ₹500 for one paper and ₹600 for two papers. CBSE has identified 135 cities in exam centres of CTET will be located.
