CBSE 2024 Board Exams: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the deadline for submitting registration data for students taking the 2023-24 board exams even again. The deadline for submitting registration data for students in Classes 9 and 11 without incurring late fees is November 10. Previously, the deadline for schools to submit registration data for CBSE Class 9 and Class 11 students was October 25.
Between November 11 and November 18, CBSE will also allow schools to submit registration data with the payment of late fees.
CBSE announcing the extension of the deadline said, “Considering various representations received from schools, the schedule for submission of registration data of Class 9, 11, 2023-24 has been extended.”
Previously, principals and schools were asked to ensure that the kids sponsored are their own regular and legitimate pupils exclusively, and that no bonafide student’s name goes unregistered. The board further stated that students should not attend any unapproved or unaffiliated schools.
All schools must first enter information into the OASIS portal, including the full names of the candidate, mother and father, or guardian. The board also stated that abbreviations should be avoided because they may cause problems for children in the future.
The number of students sponsored by the schools must also be in proportion to the number of teachers appointed in the school.
