CBSE Board Supplementary Exams 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will begin accepting registrations for the CBSE supplementary exams for private students today. The registration facility is available for all 10th and 12th grade classes. Students who are interested in applying for the CBSE supplementary results should visit the official website.
It is important to remember that CBSE Class 12th students can register for improvement tests in one subject, while Class 10th children can enhance their marks in up to two courses.
CBSE Board Supplementary schedule 2025
Private students of CBSE must submit their applications through the official website, cbse.nic.in. The application form will be available from May 30 until June 17. According to the CBSE supplementary exam schedule for 2025, the Class 10 and Class 12 exams are set to take place starting from July 15.
Who is eligible to apply?
CBSE students who have taken all their exams as private candidates and received a compartment status in any subject are eligible to apply. Those who have passed must select the improvement option when filling out the form. The board has also clarified that students who appeared as regular candidates in the 2023-24 board exams are eligible to apply.
What fees need to be submitted?
For the CBSE compartment exam in 2025, students are required to pay an application fee for each subject. The fee structure is as follows:
– For private candidates in India: Rs 300 per subject
– For private candidates in Nepal: Rs 1,000 per subject
– For private candidates outside India: Rs 2,000 per subject
Students who miss the application deadline will be charged a Rs 2,000 late fee in addition to the usual application price. Payments can be made via a debit card, credit card, or net banking, as indicated in the official circular.
CBSE Class 10th, 12th Results 2025
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the Class 10 and 12 results 2025 on May 13. The total pass percentage has slightly increased. A total of 17,04,367 students registered for the CBSE 2025 Class 12 examinations. Out of them, 16,92,794 students took the exam, and 14,96,307 passed, for an overall pass rate of 88.39%.
For the CBSE Class 10 exams, out of a total of 23,85,079 students who registered, 23,71,939 students appeared for the exams. Among them, 22,21,636 students successfully passed, bringing the overall pass percentage to an impressive figure — 93.66%.
Over 44 lakh pupils nationwide took the CBSE board exams, which were held from February 15 to March 18. As many as 24.12 lakh CBSE Class 10 students sat exams in 84 courses, and 17.88 lakh Class 12 students took exams in 120 subjects.
