The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) in Odisha has started evaluating the answersheets of Plus II students from today. For the evaluation procedure, almost 8,000 teachers have been assigned.
The evaluation process would take place at 78 centers spread over 30 districts in Odisha, according to sources. Additionally, there will be two stages to the examination paper grading process. Seven thousand teachers will assess the answer papers during the first phase, which runs from April 2 to April 14. Approximately 8,000 teachers will participate in the second phase, which will take place from April 16 to April 28.
The CHSE aims to complete the evaluation process by April 28. The results are expected to be announced between May 10 and 15.
Besides, in view of the prevailing heatwave conditions, the board has decided to conduct the evaluation process in two shifts to ensure the comfort and well-being of the evaluators.
The evaluation sessions will be held from7:30 am to 12:30 pm (morning session) and 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm (afternoon session).
It is important to note that 3.9 lakh students in the fields of science, arts, commerce, and vocational education took the Plus II board exams.
A total of 24 lakh exam papers will be assessed both offline and online this year. Every day, each teacher has five hours to analyze thirty worksheets. Furthermore, the CHSE has chosen to reevaluate answer sheets with zero marks by two different teachers in order to maintain openness.
