The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has revised the syllabus of some subjects for Class 11 and Class 12. The updated syllabus and scope for the Indian School Certificate (ISC) Classes 11 and 12 may be found on the Council’s website, cisce.org, under the “Library (Publications)” link.
Physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, commerce, accounting, history, geography, political science, sociology, psychology, and legal studies are among the disciplines that have been modified in the ISC Class 12 syllabus by CISCE for the 2025 exams. The Council further stated that the remaining topics’ curricula and scope had not changed.
While for Class 11 2024-25 academic year, syllabus for only chemistry, biology, mathematics and history have been changed.
CISCE has asked the heads of schools disseminate the information on the change of ISC Class 11 and Class 12 syllabus to all students, teachers, parents, and guardians.
In the meantime, the ISC examinations ended on April 5 and the ICSE Class 10 exams ended on March 27. The outcome will now be announced by the Council. When the results are announced, students can view them on the official website, cisce.org.
According to CISCE, the results of the Class 10 ICSE and Class 12 ISC exams will be released in May 2025. The results will only be accessible on the Council’s official website, cisce.org, rather than through the CISCE New Delhi office.
In addition to taking improvement tests, students will have the opportunity to raise their Class 10 and Class 12 grades and marks in the same exam year. However, candidates may only appear in a maximum of two subjects. For the 2024 board exams, the ICSE compartment tests have been canceled.
The CISCE announced the results for both classes on May 6 after concluding the 2024 ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 exams on March 28 and April 3, respectively, last year.
