Citroen, a French automaker, is preparing to launch its third product in India. The all-new Citroen eC3 EV made its official debut recently and will be available in India next month. Pre-bookings for the same are now available. The eC3 will be one of the most affordable electric vehicles on the market when it is released.

Citroen India is now taking reservations for the eC3 EV. Prospective buyers can reserve it online at the company’s website or in person at their nearest Citroen-authorised dealership for a nominal fee of Rs 25,000. It will be available in dealerships across the country beginning next month.
Citroen eC3 EV: Battery, range and performance
The new Citroen eC3 EV has a 29.2 kWh LFP battery pack and a 320-kilometer ARAI-certified range per charge. It has a single front-wheel-drive electric motor that produces 56 bhp and 143 Nm of peak torque. The eC3 EV has a top speed of 107 kmph and two driving modes, Eco and Standard, as well as a regenerative braking system.
Citroen eC3 EV: Price and rivals
The Citroen eC3 EV is an electric crossover based on the ICE version of the C3 hatchback, which is currently priced between Rs 5.98 lakh and Rs 8.25 lakh ex-showroom. Its electrified version, the eC3, is expected to cost around Rs 10 lakh ex-showroom to compete with the Tata Tiago EV, Tata Tigor EV, and others.
