On World Telecommunications and Information Society Day, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi underlined his government’s commitment to converting the state into a digitally empowered and inclusive community.
In a tweet on his social media site X (previously Twitter), CM Majhi emphasized the importance of technology in promoting equitable growth and empowerment.
“Technology is a catalyst for inclusive growth and empowerment. On #WorldTelecommunicationDay, we reiterate our vision for a digitally connected #Odisha where innovation drives opportunity for all, leading the way towards a smarter, more connected future,” he wrote.
The Chief Minister further stressed the essential role of strong digital infrastructure in promoting socioeconomic development.
He emphasized the importance of ensuring fair access to telecommunications services, particularly in rural and underserved areas of the state, as part of Odisha’s continuous efforts to bridge the digital divide.
