CM Majhi launches ‘Odisha Yatri App’ to provide affordable and convenient travel options to people

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi introduced the state’s own transportation booking app, ‘Odisha Yatri’, with the goal of providing citizens in the state with economical and easy travel options.

Yesterday, the Chief Minister unveiled the ‘Odisha Yatri App,’ which was developed by the Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT), as part of the state-level commemoration of National Road Safety Month-2025 in Bhubaneswar.

The adoption of the ‘Odisha Yatri App’ will benefit both drivers and passengers. Through this ‘Odisha Yatri App’, users can simply book safe, economical, and convenient cab/auto trips to their location with just one click, and because consumers will make payments through PhonePe and Google Pay, the money will instantly go to the drivers’ accounts, and there will be no any deduction of money as it happens in Ola and Uber apps. Likewise, as the fair has been fixed by the State government, the traveller will pay lesser than in comparison to Ola and Uber.
