Chief Minister Mohan Majhi left for New Delhi on a two-day tour to attract investments to Odisha.
“I will have one-on-one discussions with various investors during my two-day visit. I will urge investors to come to Odisha to attend an investor meet,” Majhi told reporters at the airport before departing for the national Capital.
The dates for Utkarsh Odisha: Make-in Odisha 2025 conclave have been set for January 28 and 29, 2025. The discussions would concentrate investments in food processing, information technology, chemicals, and petrochemicals, while also alerting investors about Odisha’s favorable investment and industrial environment.
The state plans to raise Rs 5.5 lakh crore in capital over the next five years. Notably, Rs 45,000 crore has already been invested in Odisha over the last 100 days.
Industries Minister Sampad Chandra Swain and departmental officials will join the Chief Minister for the meeting. “With Lord Jagannath’s blessings, my endeavour is to lead Odisha towards rapid industrialization,” Majhi told the gathering.
This project matches with Odisha’s goal of attracting large investment. The government would hold road shows, including one in New Delhi, ahead of Utkarsh Odisha.
