Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Industries Minister Sampad Swain had attended the investor meet in Mumbai. The CM met with numerous important industrialists, including JSW CEO Sajjan Jindal, Vedanta Chairman Anil Agarwal, and Reliance Solar Energy Director Anant Ambani, and discussed a variety of topics.
Following a meeting with industrialists in Mumbai, the Chief Minister wrote on X that the state government will extend all support to JSW for the successful implementation of EV, lithium-ion battery, and 32 MTPA steel projects in Odisha. As a result, Odisha would be regarded as a leading state in the fields of steel and electric vehicles.
After meeting Anil Agarwal, the Chief Minister wrote, “I met Anil Agarwal, chairman of Vedanta Group in Mumbai and discussed in detail the expansion and investment of Vedanta Aluminum in the State. The ‘Utkarsh Odisha Conference’ will be organized in the State very soon. All facilities will be provided with special incentives for investment. Odisha having enormous potential is the focal point of ‘Purvodaya’ under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Majhi also visited Reliance Solar Energy Director Anant Ambani in Mumbai and invited him to the Utkarsh Odisha conference, which will be held next year.
The CM added that investment in the country will be prioritized, particularly in sectors such as green fuel, communication, mobile networks, and solar energy. The government will supply all necessary facilities. This will secure Odisha’s financial progress and achieve the goal of ‘Developed Odisha’, according to the Chief Minister on ‘X’.
