Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is scheduled to visit Mumbai for two days beginning October 18. During his journey to Mumbai, Majhi will meet with investors and attempt to entice them to the mineral-rich state.
During his recent visit to his birthplace of Keonjhar, the Chief Minister informed the media that he will travel to Mumbai for a two-day visit to meet with industry leaders and promote investment to Odisha. He would meet investors in Mumbai and invite them to Odisha. Majhi will also attend a road show in the country’s financial capital on behalf of the Industries Department, highlighting Odisha’s potential for rapid industrialisation.
The Chief Minister will have talks with investors about establishing a steel plant in Keonjhar.
In the first week of October, the Chief Minister visited New Delhi to promote investments to Odisha and met with Ambassadors, High Commissioners, Commercial Commissioners, and capitalists from other nations.
Majhi also attended a roadshow in New Delhi, urging investors to attend Odisha’s premier industrial event, the ‘Utkarsh Odisha: Make In Odisha Conclave 2025,’ which will be hosted in Bhubaneswar on January 28 and 29.
