During the event, 83 projects worth Rs 829.76 crore were inaugurated, with the foundation stone laid for 77 projects costing Rs 170 crore. These initiatives span a variety of industries, including health, education, agriculture, water resources, electric transportation, highways, bridges, canals, and tourism projects.

Notable initiatives include the laying of the foundation stone for a nursing college in Jajpur and the opening of the Vyas Sarovar and Town Hall in Vyas Nagar, which cost approximately Rs 78 crore. To improve health services in the district, the Jajati Keshari Medical College and Hospital was renamed the Maharaja Jajati Keshari Medical College and Hospital. For its inaugural year, the institution has 50 seats; in the next academic year, there will be 100.
Majhi revealed a number of new initiatives for the Jajpur area, such as the renovation of the well-known Maa Birja temple, which will cost Rs 50 crore and entail the beautification and upgrading of the Baglamukhi Temple, Shiva Temple, and Brahmakunda. With Rs 10 crore set aside for this purpose, the Dharmashala of the Maa Biraja temple will be enlarged to accommodate more worshipers. Additionally, Rs 21.43 crore would be invested to upgrade the Birja Agneswar Haat in Navigaya.
A new town hall with 1,000 seats and a new bus terminal in Jajpur, which would cost Rs 30 crore to build, are among the other projects that have been revealed.
Noting the distinct spirituality and auspicious vibe in the air, Majhi conveyed his excitement for the festival, which coincided with the Khandagiri Mela in Odisha and the Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj.
