Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today accepted a proposal to convert all 7,579 small Anganwadis in the state to standard centers.
Patnaik stated that the state’s child development programs can be increased further.
The upgrade of these tiny Anganwadi centers will cost Rs 5,521,30,150. The state government would spend Rs 36,40,95,160, while the federal government will pay Rs 18, 80,34,990.
Medical kits, furnishings, and other equipment, as well as administrative costs, are also covered by the money.
It is worth noting that Anganwadi Centers work in the state to care for and educate vulnerable children.
