On Saturday, the Congress announced its candidates for Odisha’s 16 Assembly and 3 Lok Sabha seats.
According to a news statement released by the All India Congress Committee (AICC), the Central Election Committee of Congress has chosen candidates for 16 seats in the upcoming Odisha Legislative Assembly elections, as well as three candidates for Lok Sabha seats in Sambalpur, Keonjhar, and Aska from Odisha.
The list of candidates for the 16 Assembly seats is as under:

Badashi: Kshirod Chandra Patra
Sukinda: Bibhu Bhusan Rout
Kantamal: Sarat Kumar Pradhan (in place of Manoj Kumar Acharya)
Kendrapara: Shipra Mallick
Rajanagar: Ashok Pratihari
Mahakalapada: Loknath Maharathy
Nimapara: Siddharth Routray
Pipili: Gyan Ranjan Patnaik
Jayadev: Krushna Sagaria (in place of Jayant Kumar Bhoi)
Khordha: Sonali Sahoo
Chilika: Pradeep Kumar Swain
Khandapada: Manoj Kumar Pradhan
Daspalla: Nakul Nayak
Kabisuryanagar: Sanjay Kumar Mandal (in place of Bipin Bihari Swain)
Gopalpur: Shayam Sundargarh Sahu
The list of candidates for the 03 Lok Sabha seats is as under:
Sambalpur: Dulal Chandra Pradhan
Keonjhar: Binod Bihari Nayak (in place of Mohan Hembram)
Aska: Debokanta Sharma
Prominent among those who have been given party tickets by the Congress are Siddharth Routray, a greenhorn in politics and son of expelled veteran Congress leader Suresh Kumar Routray and Shipra Mallick, a former BJD MLA.
