Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 10,649 fresh COVID-19 cases within the last 24 hours, taking the active caseload within the state to over 1 lakh (1,00,313) on Thursday.
Among the new cases reported from all 30 districts, 5,965 were from quarantine and 4,684 were local contacts.
With this, the total positive cases within the state has soared to 5,76,297
Among the districts, Khurda reported the highest of 1557 cases, followed by Cuttack (930), Sundargarh (774), Angul (557), Balasore (503), Sambalpur (494), Mayurbhanj (404), Bargarh (391), Jharsuguda (368), Nayagarh (357), Puri (335), Nuapada (331), Jajpur (307), Jagatsinghpur (278), Kalahandi (263), Ganjam (245), Boudh (232), Dhenkanal (220), Bhadrak (216), Nabarangpur (207), Balangir (198), Sonepur (195), Kendrapada (185), Keonjhar (175), Koraput (164), Rayagada (163), Deogarh (112), Gajapati (104), Kandhamal (69) and Malkangiri (48).
Apart from, the state pool has 267 cases.
Up to now, Odisha has registered 4,65,133 recoveries.
