CTET 2024 Exam: The admit card for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) July 2024 test will be released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on July 5. Admit cards are available for download at ctet.nic.in for those who have registered for the exam. The link to the CTET admit card will activate at approximately 10 am, a CBSE representative informed IndianExpress.com. The date of CTET 2024 is set for July 7.
Student will required to key in their application number, password and security pin to download their admit card. The CTET city intimation slip is released at ctet.nic.in.
CTET 2024 will be conducted in over twenty languages in over 136 cities across the country. The exam is held twice a year, i.e. January and July. The January session exam was held on January 21 and the result was declared on February 15.

CTET 2024: Exam pattern
The CTET exam consists of two papers – paper 1 for candidates who aspire to be teachers for classes 1 to 5. while qualifying paper 2 will make the applicants eligible to be teachers for classes 6 to 8.
The first exam paper will comprise five compulsory portions, each with 30 questions: environmental studies, mathematics, language 1 and 2, language development and pedagogy, and language.
There will be four sections in Paper 2, of which three are required portions for thirty marks each: language 1 and language 2, and child development and pedagogy. Moreover, candidates will attend the final portion based on the subject they will be teaching.
On the other hand, candidates planning to teach social studies or social science will respond to 60 questions about social studies. Social Science.
Candidates hoping to become teachers in the fields of science and mathematics will take part in the section questions.
Both question paper are of a total 150 marks, with one marks being awarded for correct answer and there is no privision of negative marking in the exam.
