On July 19, 2024, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will re-test impacted Central University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) students. The CUET UG Re-Test will be administered using computer-based testing (CBT). According to several media reports, the NTA CUET UG Result 2024 is likely to be revealed on July 22. However, the Senior Director NTA’s public notice issued on Sunday does not specify the date or time when the CUET UG Result would be declared.
“The grievances received from candidates up to 30 June 2024, regarding the CUET (UG) – 2024 examination, as well as the complaints sent to rescuetug@nta.ac.in between 07 July and 09 July 2024 (before 05:00 P.M.), have been reviewed. Based on these grievances, a re-examination will be conducted for those affected candidates on 19 July 2024 (28 आषाढ़ 1946), Friday, in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode,” Senior Director NTA said in a public notice issued on Sunday.
NTA to conduct CUET-UG retest for over 1000 candidates
The CUET UG Re-Rest will be held for over 1000 candidates. According to NTA sources, the distribution of question papers in language not opted by the candidates is one of the reasons for the retest and the 1000-odd candidates are spread across six states, PTI reported. “Some of the grievances include time loss due to distribution of wrong question paper,” a source said, PTI reported. A total of 250 candidates of the 1,000 CUET-UG aspirants for whom the NTA is conducting the retest are from Oasis Public School in Hazaribagh, which is also under scanner for the alleged leak of NEET-UG question paper.
It should be noted that the NTA has previously held the CUET (UG) – 2024 Examination in hybrid mode (CBT and Pen & Paper) on 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 24, and 29 May 2024 at various Examination Centers located in 379 locations, including 26 cities outside India, for about 13.48 lac candidates.
CUET UG Final Answer Key Date
The NTA CUET UG Provisional Answer Key was released on July 7. Candidates were allowed to raise objections against the CUET Provisional Answer Key for both computer-based and pen & paper mode examinations. All
challenges received online were shown to the concerned subject experts. Based on the feedback of the subject experts, the Final Answer Keys are being prepared and the same will be uploaded soon on the official website of the CUET (UG) – 2024.
CUET UG Admit Card
NTA has not released any precise date and time for the publication of the CUET UG Final Answer Key. Meanwhile, the admit cards for all affected candidates will be issued soon. The concerned candidates are requested to download their CUET UG Admit Card by entering their application number and date of birth from the website https://exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/.
