CUET UG 2025: Application process begins, exams from May 8-June 1

Last year, the CUET UG 2024 was held in hybrid mode (CBT and pen and paper) on May 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, and 24 in 379 cities, including 26 cities outside India, for approximately 13.48 lakh candidates. On May 29, approximately 1.58 lakh candidates took seven test papers, and nearly 1,000 students took the retest on July 19.

Examinations, whether NEET or CUET, were chaotic in 2024 after the NTA was brought in for a legal dispute. On July 19, the agency administered a retest to almost 1,000 students. In between the uproar, a video went viral in which some empty boxes of students’ answer sheets were left outside the hall at NTA. However, such charges have been denied by NTA.

Meanwhile, the Agency released the Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate (CUET PG) application forms. Candidates willing to take admission to PG programmes in all central universities and other participating universities can register at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG/. While the  application window opened on January 2, the last date to apply for CUET PG 2025 is February 1.
