The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Bhubaneswar office, forecasted dry weather in most districts of Odisha for the next few days in a bulletin issued on Friday.
The minimum temperature (night temperature) will not change significantly over the next two days, and the temperature will likely fall by 2°C to 3°C in many parts of Odisha. In the Odisha plains, Angul had the highest maximum temperature of 34.7°C and Phulbani had the lowest minimum temperature of 9.0°C.
Simultaneously, shallow to moderate fog is expected in one or two locations across the districts of Angul, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Nayagarh, Khurda, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Rayagada, and Koraput.
Meanwhile, dense fog developed in one or two locations over the coastal Odisha districts of Bhubaneswar, Bhadrak, Cuttack, and Ganjam on Friday morning, and the situation is expected to persist for the next two days.
