Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel will follow their successful film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha with Gadar 2, which they will release next Friday. The advance bookings for the film have begun, and the film has already sold 90,885 tickets for day one.
Gadar 2’s first day advance business has already surpassed Rs 2.42 crore, according to the trade website Sacnilk. Delhi NCR witnessed the most bookings with 15% occupancy, followed by Mumbai, Pune, and Bengaluru with 6%, 5%, and 4%, respectively.
According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Gadar 2 has sold 12,100 tickets at PVR, 8,600 at Inox, and 9,350 tickets at Cinepolis — the three national chains.

At the box office, Gadar 2 will compete with Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2. Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has been playing in theaters since July 28, and both films are set to co-star with it.
Taran tweeted that the romantic comedy drama starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt has surpassed Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan as Bollywood’s second-highest grosser internationally.

Anil Sharma directs Gadar 2, which continues the narrative of Tara Singh and Sakeena. Tara Singh crosses the border into Pakistan to save his kid, played by Utkarsh Sharma, in the sequel.
