The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023 results were announced today by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur. The results can be found on the official website, gate.iitk.ac.in.

The exam was held in eight sessions on February 4, 5, 11, and 12. Around 6.70 lakh students registered for GATE 2023, with approximately 5.17 lakh taking the exam. Around one lakh of them qualified for the GATE 2023. The pass percentage was nearly 18%.
The exams were held in over 500 locations across the country, with an overall attendance rate of 77%. GATE 2023 was held in 29 subjects, with candidates having the option of taking two papers in some of them. The metallurgical engineering paper had the highest qualified percentage this year, at 25%.
Instead of March 21, the score cards will be available on March 22. Candidates will be able to download their scorecards from the portal for free until May 31.
