GATE 2025 registration: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will close registration for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 on October 3. It was originally scheduled to expire on September 26, but the deadline to apply for the exam without paying a late fee is October 3.
Candidates who have not yet registered and wish to take the test can do so online at the official website – gate2025.iitr.ac.in – by October 3rd.
GATE 2025 will feature 30 test papers, including complete papers and sectional papers. The registration price for ladies, SC, ST, and PwD candidates is Rs 900, while all other applicants, including international citizens, pay Rs 1,800.
GATE 2025: Steps to apply
Step 1: Visit to the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in
Step 2: Click on Apply Now from the Applications menu
Step 3: Fill in the personal details, papers you want to appear for, postal address and cities for examination, qualification degree details
Step 4: Upload the scanned copy of your photograph, signature, category certificate (if applicable) and PwD certificate (if applicable)
Step 5: Fill in the details of valid government ID and bank details
Step 6: Complete the payment process and print the GATE 2025 application form.
The photo on your GATE 2025 admission card and scorecard will be the same one you uploaded with your application form. If a candidate fails to complete the GATE 2025 application form by tomorrow, they can submit it by October 7 with a late charge.
The admit card for GATE 2025 will most likely be released in January, with the exam taking place on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.
