Bhubaneswar: The Government schools running for Class IX and XI students in Odisha is not going to be closed for COVID-19, stated School & Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Sprint on Monday.
Dash stated that cases of COVID-19 have been reported from only a handful of private educational institutions within the state. Classes in Government colleges are being held whereas following the SOPs.
Not a single case of COVID-19 has been detected in Government schools. Subsequently, no decision has been made so far to close government schools, he added.
