The Odisha Transport Department has stated that green PUCC validity stickers would be available for vehicles having a valid Pollution Under Control Certificate (PUCC) starting January 10, 2026.
According to the department’s statement, vehicle owners who have already secured a valid PUCC can pick up their green stickers from their local Regional Transport Offices. To assist the procedure, dedicated counters will be installed in all RTOs.
Furthermore, the notification specified that only vehicles with a valid PUCC would be eligible for the green sticker. Before issuing the sticker, RTO officials will need to verify the vehicle’s pollution certificate, registration information, and VAHAN database records.
To collect the sticker, vehicle owners must provide the original or digital PUCC, a copy of the Registration Certificate (RC), and proof of identity. If someone else collects the sticker on behalf of the owner, they will need an authorisation letter signed by the owner, as well as both parties’ identification credentials.
The Transportation Department has set January 10, 2026 as the deadline for implementing the PUCC validity sticker system. Vehicles with PUCCs received prior to January 9, 2026, will receive stickers from their RTO, whereas those tested on or after January 10 will receive stickers directly from authorized PUC testing centers during testing.
