The Filmfare honors, one of India’s most prestigious cinema honors, is returning to Gujarat for its 69th edition.
On Wednesday, Filmfare and the Government of Gujarat signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the 69th edition of the Filmfare Awards, which would be held in Gujarat in 2024.
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel and Times Group Managing Director Vineet Jain.
Tiger Shroff, a Bollywood actor, will also appear as a celebrity guest. Mulubhai Bera, Gujarat’s Minister of Forest and Environment, will be the event’s Guest of Honor.
The Filmfare Awards, which have traditionally been held in Mumbai, will make a detour to Gujarat for the 2024 event.
Cabinet Minister Rushikesh Patel took to Twitter to announce that lively Gujarat will host the renowned 69th Filmfare Awards in 2024.
