According to the IMD, heatwave conditions are extremely expected to prevail in Odisha’s districts until May 13.
According to the IMD’s forecast for May 8, hot and humid weather are extremely likely to persist in one or two locations in the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Khurda, Cuttack, and Jajpur.

Hot and humid conditions are very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Khurda, Cuttack, and Jajpur”, read the IMD’s forecast for May 9.
As per the IMD’s prediction for May 10, heatwave conditions are very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Boudh, Balangir and Sambalpur. Besides, hot and humid conditions is very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Khurda, Cuttack, and Jajpur.
On May 11, the regional weather office issued a yellow warning for heatwave conditions in one or two locations in the districts of Jharsuguda, Boudh, Balangir, Sundargarh, and Sambalpur. Aside from that, hot and humid conditions are anticipated to prevail in one or two locations across the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Khurdha, Cuttack, and Jajpur.
On May 12, the regional meteorological office predicts heatwave conditions in one or two spots over the districts of Jharsuguda, Boudh, Balangir, Bargarh, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, and Sonepur. Furthermore, hot and humid weather are anticipated to prevail in one or two locations in the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Khurda, Cuttack, and Jajpur.
