Bhubaneswar: Because the cyclonic circulation persists over the Bay of Bengal off Odisha coast, the Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar issued heavy rainfall alert for a number of districts of the State till September 22.
As per IMD’s yesterday’s weather bulletin, intense spell of rain may lash as many as 12 districts of Odisha today.
Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Khordha, Puri, Dhenkanal, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar and Sundargarh today. Such climate situation may continue in these districts till tomorrow morning.
The weather condition in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack cities is likely to remain partly cloudy sky with possibility of moderate rain or thundershowers today.
