Hero MotoCorp, India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has teased the upcoming Xpulse 200T 4V on social media. The new 2022 Hero Xpulse 200T 4V is expected to be released soon, and its mechanicals will be shared with the Xpulse 200 4V. Along with a more powerful engine, the updated Xpulse 200T is expected to receive cosmetic updates and new color schemes.
The upcoming Hero Xpulse 200T 4V was recently spotted unmasked during a TV commercial shoot in India. Its leaked images show that the motorcycle will receive cosmetic upgrades such as fork cover gaiters, a new visor above the headlight, new paint schemes, and more. The most significant change for this touring motorcycle will be its powertrain.
A 199.6cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, fuel-injected, 4-stroke, 4-valve engine will power the new Hero Xpulse 200T 4V. This engine produces 18.9 bhp and 17.35 Nm of peak torque when paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. In terms of features, the Xpulse 200T 4V is expected to include a Bluetooth-powered digital instrument cluster with turn-by-turn navigation, a USB charging port, and so on.
The motorcycle’s hardware will remain unchanged. It will have telescopic front forks and a monoshock rear suspension. The motorcycle will have disc brakes on both ends, as well as a single-channel ABS. The Hero Xpulse 200T is currently priced at Rs 1.24 lakh ex-showroom, and the upcoming 4V model is likely to be slightly more expensive.
