Hyundai Motor India has made a number of changes to the Creta for the calendar year 2023. The new 2023 Hyundai Creta has been launched in India, with an ex-showroom price of Rs 10.84 lakh. Six airbags are standard, as are RDE and E20-compliant engines. It is worth noting that RDE (real driving emission) standards will be implemented in India beginning in April of this year.
Hyundai Creta 2023: Engine and gearbox
The Creta’s powertrains are now RDE-compliant, E20 fuel ready, and have an idle start-stop system. It retains the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with 113 bhp and the 1.5-litre diesel engine with 113 bhp. The 138 bhp 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine, on the other hand, has been discontinued. There are numerous transmission options available on offer, including a 6-speed manual gearbox, IVT and a 6-speed AT.
Hyundai Creta: Features and safety
In terms of safety features, the Hyundai Creta now comes standard with six airbags, Electronic Stability Control, Vehicle Stability Management, hill-start assist control, all-wheel disc brakes, and ISOFIX child seat mounts. A 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and connected car technology, as well as a panoramic sunroof, are among the other features.

Ex-showroom prices for the new 2023 Hyundai Creta petrol variants range from Rs 10.84 lakh to Rs 17.64 lakh, while diesel variants range from Rs 11.89 lakh to Rs 19.13 lakh. It competes with the Kia Seltos, Tata Harrier, MG Hector, Volkswagen Taigu, Skoda Kushaq, and others.
