ICAI CA Inter May 24 Exam Date: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on March 19 announced a change in the exam schedule for the CA Foundation, Intermediate, Final May exam dates 2024.
The official updated exam schedule was made public today. It states that group 2 will take place on May 11, 15, and 17, rather than May 9, 11 and 13, while group 1 will take place on May 3, 5, and 9 instead of May 7.
Rather than on May 6, final exam group 1 will now take place on May 2, 4, and 8. Instead of May 8, 10, and 12, Group 2 of the CA Final Exam will take place on May 10, 14, and 16.
The exam schedule is available at the official ICAI website — icai.org.
However, the ICAI has alerted the students that the exam dates can change later due to General Elections in the country. “It is pertinent to mention that General Election to 18th Lok Sabha are scheduled to be held in 2024, notification for which is awaited. Accordingly, Examination Committee may reschedule May 2024 CA Examination, if the dates of General Election coincide with the present Examination Schedule,” the ICAI mentioned in the official notification.
This time, candidates of foundation, intermediate and final examinations will be allowed to opt for English / Hindi medium for answering papers.
The institute is also planning to conduct the Foundation and Inter exam thrice a year in January, May/June, and September. The change in pattern was also announced by Central Council Member (CCM) of ICAI, Dhiraj Khandelwal, on his official Twitter account, but no official announcement has been released yet.
