ICAI CA Inter, Final November 2023 Result Declared: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) today released the ICAI CA intermediate and final results for the November 2023 exams. Up to 8,650 applicants have met the requirements to become chartered accountants.
Out of the 1,17,304 candidates that took the intertest overall, 19,686 passed the CA inter Group I, bringing the pass percentage to 16.78. Similarly, 93,638 students took the CA group II inter examinations, of which 17,957 passed with a 19.18 pass rate. Out of 53,459 candidates who appeared in both groups, only 5,204 were successful. 9.73 is the overall pass rate.
There were 65,294 candidates who took the ICAI CA Group 1 final test, however only 6,176 of them were successful. The percentage of passes in group 1 final exam is 9.46 per cent. While for group 2, the total number of candidates appearing in the CA final November 2023 exam was 62,679 and only 13,540 cleared making the overall pass percentage 21.6.
Those who appeared for the exam can check the CA inter and final results on the official websites – icai.org and icai.nic.in. Credentials including ICAI registration numbers, roll numbers and date of birth will be needed to login and check the result.
This time, ICAI held the CA inter group 1 exams on November 2, 4, 6 and 8 and group 2 exams on November 10, 13, 15 and 17, 2023. The CA final group 1 exams were conducted on November 1, 3, 5, 7 and CA final group 2 exams on November 9, 11, 14 and 16, 2023. The CA inter exams were held in 563 exam centres, while the CA final exams were conducted in 477 exam centres.
To be eligible for the November 2023 ICAI CA inter and CA final exam, candidates needed to receive at least 40% in each paper and at least 50% overall in each group.
Akshay Ramesh Jain from Ahmedabad took first place in the 2023 CA final exam, followed by Prakhar Varshney from Delhi at AIR 3 and Kalpesh Jain from Chennai at AIR 2.
