ICAI CA January 2026 Exam Schedule: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on September 23 announced the datesheet for the CA January 2026 exam. The ICAI CA January 2026 test dates for Foundation, Intermediate, and Final exams have been announced.
All candidates appearing for the Foundation, Intermediate, and Final Examinations in January 2026 must submit their applications online using the Self Service Portal (SSP) at eservices.icai.org and pay the applicable examination fee. The online examination application forms will be available for submission starting November 3. The deadline for submitting online examination application forms without late fees is November 16.
The ICAI CA Foundation exams are scheduled to be held on January 18, 20, 22, and 24, 2026. Papers 1 and 2 of the ICAI CA Foundation exam are scheduled to last three hours, whereas papers 3 and 4 will last two hours. There will be no advance reading time for ICAI CA foundation papers 3 and 4.
The CA intermediate Group 1 exams will be held on January 6, 8, and 10, while the ICAI CA Group 2 exams will take place on January 12, 15, and 17.
The CA Final exams will be held over six days. While Group 1 exams will be held on January 5, 7 and 9, Group 2 will be held on January 11, 13 and 16.
No examination is scheduled on January 14 on account of Makar Sankranti, Magh Bihu and Pongal festivals across India, ICAI said.
The Institute has also announced the exam dates for the members. The International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT–AT) will be held on January 13 and 16, while the Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Examination for Modules I to IV is scheduled on January 9, 11, 13 and 16.
The January 2026 ICAI CA tests will also be held in nine international examination cities, including Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Thimphu (Bhutan), Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu (Nepal), Kuwait, Muscat, and Riyadh (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).
Candidates for the CA Foundation, Intermediate, and Final examinations will be able to answer questions in either English or Hindi. However, the Post Qualification Course — International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT – AT) and Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Examination would only be conducted in English.
