The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the assignment submission date to October 31. The extension is granted for all types of courses, ODL, online programs, GOAL, and EVBB for the December 2024 term-end examination (TEE). The deadline for all assignments, whether hard copy or soft copy, has been extended.

Meanwhile, the Open University has extended the deadline for fresh admission to the July 2024 academic year. Students planning to apply for the July 2024 session of online distance learning (ODL) and online programmes will now have extra week to register. The current deadline is October 15. Previously, the registration deadline for the ODL and online courses was September 30.
IGNOU fresh admission form 2024: How to fill
Step 1: Visit the official website of IGNOU – ignou.ac.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘Register Online’ tab followed by ‘Fresh Admissions’
Step 3: Again, a candidate will see the option of the ‘New Registrations’ tab, click it.
Step 4: Fill in all the required registration details
Step 5: Set a ‘Username’ and ‘Password’
Step 6: Fill in all the required information and upload all the documents asked by the University before clicking on the submit option.
Step 7: With the login details received on the email ID and phone number, log in using the same and fill in all the details required
Step 8: Select the programme to be studied
Step 9: Submit the IGNOU registration form
In a post on the microblogging site, the university informed students that the deadline for July 2024 Fresh Admission to all programmes had been extended.
