The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the application and registration deadline for the December 2024 term-end examination (TEE). Students preparing to take the December 2024 TEE test through online distance learning (ODL) and online programs will now have until October 27 to apply without incurring a late fee.
IGNOU would also allow candidates to register for the December TEE 2024 exam after paying a late fee. Candidates can fill up the online examination form with a late fee of Rs 1,100 between October 28 and November 3.

The open university has also extended the application deadline for all online distance learning and online mode programmes, with the exception of semester-based and diploma programmes conducted by IGNOU, till October 31. The official website, iop.ignouonline.ac.in, contains a list of online programmes. Students can review the programmes and apply accordingly.
After receiving admission confirmation, eligible candidates can apply for government scholarships through the national scholarship portal at scholarships.gov.in.
The assignment submission date has also been extended until October 31. The extension is granted for all types of courses, ODL, online programmes, GOAL, and EVBB for the December 2024 TEE. The deadline for all assignments, whether hard copy or soft copy, has been extended.
