The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) today extended the deadline for fresh admission and re-registration for the July 2024 semester. According to the new plan, the deadline has been extended until August 31.
This registration deadline extension applies to all programmes provided in ODL/online format.
Previously, the deadline was extended until August 14, but has now been extended until August 31.
An applicant must have the following documents while applying for IGNOU courses:-
— Scanned Photograph (less than 100 KB)
— Scanned Signature (less than 100 KB)
— Scanned copy of relevant Educational Qualification (less than 200 KB)
— Scanned Copy of Experience Certificate (if any) (less than 200 KB)
— Scanned Copy of Category Certificate, if SC/ST/OBC (less than 200 KB)
Interested students of the online courses can apply at the official IGNOU website — ignouiop.samarth.edu.in. However, the ODL portal is ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
Students interested in enrolling in undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate programs can apply for new admissions using the designated ODL and online portals.
Existing students who need to re-register for the following semester or academic year can do so via the re-registration site. This approach is critical for completing their academics without interruption.
