The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is inviting online applications for three programs via an entrance exam. Bachelor of Education (BEd), Post Basic BSc Nursing (BScN(PB), and PhD are the three programs.
Interested candidates can apply for these programs until December 31, 2023. Admissions will be made by an admission exam, which will be held on January 7, 2024. The exam will last two hours for BEd applicants, 2.5 hours for BSc Nursing graduates, and three hours for PhD candidates.
Candidates should keep in mind that no paper copy application forms will be accepted. All registrations must be performed online at ignou.ac.in, the University’s website. There is a Rs 1000 application fee.
Candidates must have at least 50% marks in their bachelor’s degree and/or master’s degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanities to be eligible for BEd. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology with a specialty in science and mathematics and a minimum of 55% marks, or an equivalent certificate. Admission is not restricted based on age.
The BSc Nursing program will be taught in English and will last a minimum of three years and a maximum of six years.
