The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline for re-registration for the July 2025 academic year. Students planning to apply for the July 2025 session will now have extra fortnight to register for the programmes. The last day is July 15. The official website for re-registering is onlinerr.ignou.ac.in.
Candidates who have already registered will need to log in using their username and password. If applicants have problems enrolling on the portal, such as not receiving an OTP, forgetting their username or password, or experiencing other difficulties, they should contact the regional centre for account resetting or updating their email ID and mobile number.
Candidates will be able to cancel their applications directly through the registration portal. Requests for application cancelation should not be received via email or through iGRAM. Once an application has been canceled, it cannot be revived, and any applicable reimbursement will be processed in accordance with the university’s standards. Step 1: Visit the official website: ignou.samarth.edu.in/index.php/site/login.
Step 2: Enter your enrollment number and password.
tep 3: The dashboard of the candidate will open. It will have an option of re-registration.
Step 4: Select the link and select courses, complete the payment.
Step 5: Download the application for future references.
In case online payment made by the candidate does not get updated, IGNOU asks the candidates to not make the second payment immediately.
“Please wait for a day, check the payment status and then decide,” IGNOU adds.
If you make a payment twice for the same application, one of them will be reimbursed to your account. If candidates utilize third-party services, such as a cybercafé or another shop, to submit their re-registration form, they must check that the courses were accurately picked and that the programme price was successfully paid.
