The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIML) is now accepting applications for its two-year, alternating weekend MBA program for working executives, entrepreneurs, and professionals. Interested candidates should apply online at iiml.ac.in/wmp-instructions.
Candidates can apply for the course until November 20. The Postgraduate Programme in Management for Working Executives (PGPWE) will be held at the institute’s Noida campus and is designed for individuals who are currently engaged as working professionals.
To be eligible for this course, candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in any area. Additionally, three years of full-time work experience are required. Admission requires a valid GMAT/GRE score, CAT score, or GATE score. Candidates can also take the PGPWE entrance exam, which will be held on December 17 at IIM Lucknow’s Noida campus. Shortlisted candidates will be subjected to a writing ability exam as well as a personal interview.
This curriculum covers electives in Decision Sciences, Business Environment, Communication, Marketing Management, and other subjects. A two-week overseas immersive experience at one of Europe’s leading business schools is a hallmark of the program, providing a cross-cultural knowledge of global management concerns.
The first year of the PGPWE program consists of four terms, followed by three terms in the second year. Selected students will attend classes at IIM Lucknow’s Noida Campus on alternating weekends, coming on Friday afternoon and returning on Sunday evening. Each term consists of seven visits spaced out over three months, giving a variety of electives in addition to general courses like Management Information Systems and Designing Work Organization.
