The Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) will release the admit card for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023 today (January 3). Candidates who have registered for the exam can access their hall ticket at gate.iitk.ac.in.
GATE 2023 exams will be held on February 5, 11, and 12, 2023, beginning on February 4, 2023. On February 15, 2023, the responses of candidates will be available on the application portal. The provisional answer key will be made available on February 21, 2023, and challenges to the answer key will be accepted between February 22 and February 25, 2023. The results will be announced on March 16, 2023, with the scorecard available for download on March 21, 2023.
The national level exam assesses comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate engineering, technology, architecture, science, commerce, and arts subjects. On behalf of the National Coordination Board, GATE is held annually on a rotational basis by seven IITs (Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Guwahati, Roorkee, Madras, and Kharagpur) and IISc Bangalore.
GATE 2023 will consist of 29 papers, with candidates allowed to take up to two of them.
Once the GATE 2023 admit card is released, candidates can follow the given steps to download
Step 1: Visit the official website – gate.iitk.ac.in
Step 2: Click on the admit card link
Step 3: enter login credentials
Step 4: Download and take a printout of the admit card
Earlier, GATE 2023 exam was to be conducted in eight international cities. However, seven of them — Dhaka (Bangladesh), Kathmandu (Nepal), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Male (Maldives), Port Louis (Mauritius), Singapore (Singapore) and Thimphu (Bhutan) — withdrew due to operational reasons. Now, Dubai will still conduct the GATE 2023 exam but only on February 4 and 11, 2023.
