IIT Kanpur has launched five new eMasters degree programs in economics, fintech, and business analytics. The programs do not require a GATE score to apply and can be pursued while still working full-time.
Candidates must register on the official website, emasters.iitk.ac.in. The registration deadline for the January 2023 batch is December 4. The Department of Economic Sciences at IIT Kanpur offers these three eMasters degree programs.
The classes will only be held on weekends and will consist of live interactive classes combined with self-paced learning. IIT Kanpur’s world-class faculty and researchers teach the 60-credit, 12-module industry-focused real-world curriculums.
These also provide a credits transfer option, allowing up to 60 credits to be transferred for higher education (MTech/PhD) at IIT Kanpur. Participants in these eMasters degree programs have access to the placement cell, incubation cell, and alumni network at IIT Kanpur.
The eMasters degree program in business economics and finance will provide professionals with a practical understanding of financial concepts, economic tools, and pricing mechanisms, with a focus on business finance.
The eMasters degree program in economics, finance, and data analytics will assist professionals in deepening their understanding of economics and finance while also providing extensive exposure to quantitative economics and data analysis.
The Economics, Finance, and Public Policy program will assist professionals in developing relevant knowledge and skills that are essential to the dynamic policy planning and implementation process.
